Forget Sleep!!!

Now My Two Pennies:

I have been to two clubs in Vegas--The Beach and Club Rio. The Beach is a "house" playing meet-market--full of minors and young adults listening to anything from The Village People to Madonna to The Beastie Boys. There is almost no dress code here. Girls come in bikinis and guys roaming in shorts and tank-tops(Good name hah?). The place is Gigantic. There is a middle dance stage separating the main dance stage and the balcony. It's an all-over happy-go-lucky attitude here, and as it gets completely packed(about 3,000 party animals), the bartenders perform a rendition of The Village People--props and all.

Club Rio is quite the opposite though. Dress Formal!!!-I can't stress that enough. No minors allowed, classy people only, very long lines, get there early(say ninish), but very good looking people. We got in line at 10:30 and moved ten feet in twenty minutes--the line was at least a hundred yards. Well, my companions moved--I was playing Blackjack right beside them. So, come back early the next night: the music was a mix of house and techno, the crowd very sophisticated, the drinks very expensive, yet everything seemed very trendy. Personally, I would not wait for more than half an hour, but I guess it's worth the wait for many.
